Skatepark Shepherds
Red Frogs Board Riders is the longest-running Red Frogs program, originating in 1989 when founder Andy Gourley (the original Skatepark Shepherd) began connecting with local skaters. Through this initial skatepark outreach, Red Frogs was born.
Skatepark Shepherd teams go into skateparks all across Australia, acting as a positive peer influence while creating good environments where people can thrive and fulfil their full potential in life.
#Skatepark Shepherds
Red Frogs launched a program in 2017 called Skatepark Shepherds.
A Skatepark Shepherd is a person or group of people who have a heart for their local community and skatepark. Their goal is to come alongside and care for locals while encouraging a safe and welcoming environment. By creating a safe place for people to belong, we believe that healthy and uplifting relationships can be fostered, and thriving communities formed.
